Falco,
I'd suggest making up a few in 1/4 inch for guys who are planning to put Pyros in. I'll take mine in mild steel please, and I'll tap my own hole
Cheers

Hey Falco,
I think I am going to pass as I want to do the full "complete truncation of the EGR valve"
My hope is to put a Pyro pre-turbo and this seems like the way to go.
Thanks anyhow, let me know if you do the full kits (I do not mind making my own, just is less down time if I have the plates already and do not have to pull the egr to fab the plates).
Cheers
David

I'm in for plates for an EGR Deletion if that is an option.

Inspired by Falco, I'm working on a quote for a batch of local-fabbed 6mm EGR plates identical to the proven Pajero UK club's kit - these should fit on L300/L400/Pajero.
And this would be a great excuse for a Meet, too. We can toast the initiative of Mr Columbarius and our collectively cooler running engines.

At the moment it's not. Only making the blanking plate as was originally advertised in this thread (http://www.delica.ca/forum/how-many-peo ... -8461.html). I am not fabricating lift kits; snorkels; dilithium crystals; head lamp adjusters ~ just blanking plates for the L300.Jordan wrote:I'm in for plates for an EGR Deletion if that is an option.

I do plan on fabricating lift kit's; snorkels; combo bush bar/winch housing/skidplate; safari racks; Dual din single din adapters (with 3 gauge holes, that's what I'm currently working on pictures coming soon!); snorkels; flux capacitors AND dilithium crystals. This is part of the reason I bought an L300. However I only have the one vehicle right now so taking out the EGR gasket to get the dimensions for it is a pain in the ass as I'll end up doing an EGR deletion twice.FalcoColumbarius wrote:At the moment it's not. Do these fit on the 4m40's? And does this engine share the same benifits with a egr block or egr delete? (trucks runs and works fine, no smoke)

Re: How Many People Would Want An EGR Blanking Plate For L300?
The EGR kit is the same, even though the EGR itself on the 4M40 looks different-ish.
EGR is a measure to reduce certain kinds of emissions. The trade-off is mileage and engine life.
Deleting the EGR is reported to improve mileage by as much as 20%. Also, you reduce engine wear by not pumping heat and exhaust BACK into the combustion chamber.
The win is longer engine life (lower carbon impact) and better mileage (lower carbon impact). There really isn't a down side.

Don't mean to be pushy or anything but what's the expected time frame for this order? (ie: when are we looking at product in hand)
Sorry but I'm excited to do stuff to my new toy, still waiting on gauges from e-bay (stupid mail, move stuff faster!!!)
