Hi,

Are you convinced it's your glow plugs? On mine I also had a hard morning start up. Checked things out and the connection from the wire bringing power to the busbar connecting all 4 glow plugs was rusted. Cut that rusted conection off, removed the busbar and put individual wires from each plugs going to where I cut the rusted connection. Makes sense?

If it is your plugs then ask Mardy (he'll know if Hyunday's plug work or not) then Assiniboine, MaxO/D...

Good luck!

Your Mitsubishi dealer is only useless because they won't support the vehicle (wasn't sold in this market). Napa? Haven't heard those working too well. Hyundai makes some good replacement parts, but nothing beats OEM. With glow plugs, it's the resistance that's the particular point.

One original Mitsubishi OEM glow plug cost 7,500 yen ( $90 ) plus shipping and dealer margin. :o
All glow plug selling around $120-160( set of 4 ) in Vancouver are not OEM, aftermarket ones in Japan etc.
Most in UK are from China_cheap and low quality.

Talk to Paul from Pacific JDM

http://www.pacificjdmparts.ca/

I would recommended using OEM. I tryed some aftermarket plugs that wouldn't work while the OEM ones worked perfectly

Paul will give you the best price and service, he's helped me out with parts and advice more times then i can count!!

Sorry but I think you'll be wasting your time looking locally, don't remember of any local market 2.8L diesel...
The only guy working on JDM that I know in Winterpeg is Simon (Cruiser guy) but I still doubt he could help you with the parts.

Good luck and let us know how it went.
