Slim Jim in central van?

Post by pajerry »

I locked my keys in my work truck, and was wondering if anyone knew how to get into a 08' or 09' GMC colorado?

My phone is in there too, so I can't answer calls, but you can pm me in the next half hour or so. Its at main/16th :?

Thanks!

I once got into my Tercel with some chewing gum, a screwdriver and the plastic tiedowns that they use to bundle newspapers with! I had locked the keys in the car - with the engine running at the Duncan 7-11 Petrocan. I bought some gum, borrowed a screwdriver, used the screwdriver to slightly lever the door, then I put a very small amount of gum on the piece of plastic tie, and stuck it through the levered door weatherstripping. By working the plastic through (It was formed into a loop, with a very small amount of gum on the loop inside) I was able to hook the door lock slider and pull it up. Just before the tow truck got there to charge me to do the same thing! :D

But, having said that, I highly recommend the spare key... ;)
