I'm in the process of setting up an online store (paypal and credit card) I've got to phone the shop (as I'm at home sick today) and I'll see how the order is coming along, I'm shooting for delivery before friday.
SO FAR,
I have confirmations from
Luna Sea, Impalator, Seral, Delicat, Afterburners and Manic 29. Some of them are ordering more than one set so I've only got 29 left up for grabs.
People who have mentioned they want one but haven't PM'd me are
Jordan, Sasquatch-hunter, thedjjack, deli 1733, jelbon, Antacoma, Pedro, Electrik-jester, Coaxial, gtex junkie, misterroboto, almac,
golf cart, tait, hankster, lars, yojimbo (not sure if you wanted one or you were just offering advice?), big bird, dennis_lambert (not sure if you want one as I think you're making your own now?)
Anyway, I'm only making 40 of the 2 piece 1/4" thick EGR eliminating kits and 20 of the thinner blanking plates. As I mentioned before, of the people who've messaged me some are ordering multiple kits, so please PM me and confirm asap because once they're gone the one's I'll be carrying will be more expensive. (although still cheaper than anywhere else you can get them!)
Awesome... not that you are off sick today... but that you may be able to start delivery as early as Friday or even before Friday...
I am in Port Moody but I could meet up somewhere on the weekend - or I work downtown Vancouver and could really meet anywhere in the greater downtown area during work hours or so...
Regarding the paypal store... I will pay up as soon as the thing is running... or I'll pay cash upon receipt.... whatever works best...
Cheers and thanks again for making those things...
I am looking into manufacturing some for the Interior. Will post follow up soon. Not too sure yet how long it will be before I am ready to supply.I am picking up the Material this weekend and will be looking into possibly providing replacment gaskets as well.
Cheers,
If I can meet people and do the cash thing I prefer that. If I do paypal then I have to give them a percentage to move the payment into my bank account. It's not much but it's still kinda annoying. I work in New Westminster so I can easily meet you in Coquitlam.
I could of sworn I seen a drawing of the basic plate layout dimensions in one of the EGR posts but cant seem to find it now.Does anyone have this drawing it would certinly save me some time?
Thanks,
Four 12mm bolts and the driver's seat is out. Six 12mm bolts & five phillips screws + the E-brake cable (two 10mm nuts) & the fuel hatch release ~ which you don't really have to do and the starboard engine bay plate is off. Loosen off two 12mm bolts and you can slide the gasket out and trace it. Easy peasy.
Now, you can justify that you got this information from Falco and he's a painter, what does he know? Mystery Machine? Who the hell is Mystery Machine?..........
Or you could get the job done.
Come on you guys?! Quit acting like a bunch of girlie boys and hop to it... grins.

^^I just finished up installing new belts wow the Alt belt is a real Bi*@h.Trying to get ready to head out on another camping trip.Last trip Me and my Two boys headed all the way up to Terrace pulling a massive tent trailer!! It was unfortunatly a little hard on the green Machine.Anyways Falco with all due respect you forgot a few steps!!
Step 6) Keep newly created tracing safe from Kids and put everything back together as I have no Blanking plates yet and unfortunatly have to head to work bright and early.Hurry!! wifes complaining I am not spending enough time with her.
Step 7)Drink lots of Kick ass coffee and head to work Dimension Tracing and convert to Cad/Fabricate plates and gaskets.
Step 8)Take everything back apart again and install new plates.Hurry!!Youngest has been waiting for training wheels for a week!!
I will have to take your Advise if There is no Drawing available....Grins.
Tracing the gasket is the easiest. Once you trace the gasket you put it back in until you replace it with your blanking plate. I was fortunate to have a fabricated to measure blanking plate ~ but you know what? All you need is a 1/16" flat piece of mild steel; a big drill bit (measure to your tracing); a smaller drill bit (measure to your tracing); and an hack saw... it doesn't have to fit perfectly, so long as the holes are in the right places and the big hole is covered, the metal can protrude in places.

Still working on putting together some for the interior, before I get too far ahead I should ask the question," Is there anyone interested in the interior is purchasing some if I fabricate them?"
I dont mind helping out to supply if there is a demand,It seems everyone is buying from jensen.I will too if there is no one else.
cheers.
Im up in northern Alberta, what would shipping be like on one of the 1/4 blanking plates?
or, I work in an Aircraft Machinist shop and could fabricate my own if someone would be kind enough to send me a copy of the drawing :)
