We had seen lots of photos, but that isn't the same thing as getting into the driver's seat and turning the key.
Today Lesley and I went for a little road trip, just a couple of hours, and had ourselves a picnic in Bragg Creek Provincial Park. Lesley is on crutches from foot surgery a couple of weeks ago, so she can't even get into the front passenger seat. But she's not complaining, she sits in the back, facing back, controlling the sound system.
We haven't changed out the Japanese sound system yet, so can't get FM. Ha! Just plug a walkman-type radio's headphone jack into the TV input in the soundstage and rock on. Or, plug the iPod in that way. When I'm driving alone? Easy, 25 foot extension cord and have the iPod or radio on the centre console. Rockin'!!!!!
Unfortunately in the excitement, we forgot to bring the camera. So here is a photo of it back in front of the house.
(For you tire snoops out there, the tires are Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos LT235/75R15. I went with the light truck rather than passenger version because we plan to do the Dempster Highway next summer, and that highway is famous for eating tires, so the tougher the better. The Deli should be a great vehicle for doing the Dempster.)
Wheeeeeee!! Can you tell

( I know, still have to change my avatar and sig files.)
