Sold - Rugged Ridge/AVM Manual Locking Hubs

I have one set of Rugged Ridge/AVM Manual Locking for sale. I believe that they are the same thing. These are the correct fit for Delica L300 or L400s. #15001.43
They were new a few weeks ago, but are now on my Pajero. I still have the box and instructions. It takes about 15 minutes per side to install.
I bought them to improve my Pajero fuel economy, but the improvements aren't worth the cost of the hubs for me.
They are still way better/secure than the Auto hubs that were on my 91Delica though!

Has anyone else used these hubs? I'm looking for a set but would like to know what brands to look for/stay away from. What mileage gains did you notice with these hubs?

As I said, not much difference in fuel economy improvement with my Pajero. The Pajero was designed to run with the front axles always locked with a flange.
My L300 Delica had a noticeable loss of speed when the auto hubs were engaged. Enough to make me only ever use the locked setting in snow or demanding off road situations.
There is no discernible difference on my Pajero though.
I had to order these from the US. The Mitsubishi drive train is/was much more common there than here.
Do the research yourself on Rugged Ridge/ AVM hubs in the Delica UK and AU sites and UK retailers. This product is well known there. Unfortunately shipping from those places is a real deterrent, unless you are really stuck (pun intended).
Any manual hub is better/more versatile than an auto hub. This will be come obvious if you ever have to shuffle forward and backwards and hope to retain a locked- up drive train. I once had to be winched out from between a couple of big trees on a slippery, muddy trail. My auto hubs kept unlocking as I backed up and prepared to attempt the hill. I eventually slipped sideways across the trail 90 degrees. It is really tough moving when large fir trees are nearly touching both the front and rear bumpers and your wheels are spinning and unlocking the hubs.
No more auto-hubs for me.
