I have been doing it myself in the past but now that you say you are the only one who can do it, I guess I have no say in what I can do ?

This made my day.

Thanks !

I am sure that the Assiniboine method of replacing the circuit completely with their own is a reasonable fix. There is supporting documentation regarding these dual voltage plugs, and I think that you might even go as far as to say its an upgrade. I commend the effort on this vendor's part to come up with a custom solution.

But, they fail utterly in the marketing department.

I think that its less than genuine to be pushing glowplugs that require a custom circuit to function as genuine. They are not original or even compatible plugs, they are a different plug - arguably superior - that is not compatible with the stock circuit. Sending people off with these plugs to scratch their heads in the driveway smells like deliberate or at least negligent misinformation. Its kinda shitty.
