Front Bumper for L300

You might want to try the Delica.ru club. Those guys build anything and everything. Just not sure how good your Russian is.

Well, I wish I could help. The only useful thread on delicaclub.ru is a 17-page discussion regarding front 'winch' bumpers for an L400. Below are some pictures to inspire you.
A few forum members have brought up a safety concern; a strong steel front bumper is a deadly weapon in a collision as it does not absorb the excessive force.

Make sure you get the same weight of your front bumper somewhere in the rear (maybe rear bumper?). The l300 is already a lot heavier in the front than in the back. You don't want to add on another few hundred kg to make it worse.

Very true, also depending on the vehicle it makes pedestrian collisions much more deadly. The problem with bush bars and ARB style bumpers is they're really made with only one thing in mind, off road capability. However, if you've ever driven a stock truck offroad and nudged a tree you'll see just how "crumply" your bumpers soft spots can be! It's a bit of a toss up and I guess it's up to the person who owns the vehicle. If you're offroad enough and you're driving on some nasty roads then you may need that big bumper. But if it's just for show then you're doing something dangerous for really no reason at all.

Another thing about the big heavy bumpers (and skid plates) is depending on how the crumple zones in your vehicle are laid out, the person you hit may not be the only one who suffers in a collision. I think this may be more valid on an L400 than an L300 though, in an L300 you ARE the crumple zone

And very good point fexlboi, seriously, how much more weight do you need to put on the front of an L300? If I ever decided to get a winch I'd look at trying to mount a removable model so you could throw it in the back of the van to try to even out the weight a bit when you're on the trail. What'd be really cool is to make an attachment point at the front and the back so you could get yourself outta poop no matter how dumb you were!
