I wonder how many "kliks" I am from Vancouver Island, LOL!!! By the way, is there a North American gauge cluster available for the Deli's which can measure in English or Metric? My Oldsmobile has an electronic odometer reading, & can switch from E to M, & when I take it up to Canada, I can tell if I'm obeying the speed limit!

Thanks, Yojimbo! That looks very nice & will definately come in handy in the US & when traveling into Canada or Mexico. I just wish I had my Delica NOW so I could get on the ball, attend some meets, & generally enjoy myself!

I haven't actually fitted one myself, I keep toying with the idea, but after nearly 4 years of driving it I kind know where the mph speed limits are on a kmh dial now! The other thing to get would be a gps speedometer HUD, just well, because!

Basically DJ, there are three relevant measurement systems in this discussion: Imperial, American & Metric.

Most of the countries active in this forum are now "officially" using metric.
From a Metric point of view there are 4.55 litres in an Imperial gallon and 3.78 litres in an American gallon.
One metre is comprised of 39.37 inches.
1,000 metres = one kilometre.
1.6(093) kilometres = one statutory mile.
100 KPH = 60 MPH.
80 KPH = 50 MPH.
50 KPH = 32.something MPH.

As Yojimbo mentions there are dial kits available from automotive stores. I would think that a state like Washington, neighbouring Canada would have them. They typically have two rings of numbers, one in MPH & one in kilometres.

I don't even use my speedometer, because its not accurate. I use the speedo in my GPS.
