New member. New "old" Delica L300...

Post by lost2 »

Hi everyone.

I just bought lost1's L300 Delica, so I figured lost2 would be a great nickname for me.

We are a family of 6 (36,34,7,6,4, and 2 years old) and we took the van with the idea of adding a popup roof and many others yet unexpected features. Our goal is to bring the modified van somewhere between here and tierra del fuego, within the next 2-3 years.

Our last trip backpacking with the kids across Guatemala and the peninsula of Yucatan (Mex) (jan-feb 2010) was wonderful, but we feel being more "mobile" and self-sufficient would be greater!

I'll keep you informed,

Davy
p.s. english ain't my mother tongue, but I guest you already noticied :-)

I've tried to put some pictures, but it didn't work... are images over 1MB too big for this forum?

Not just for this forum. Try to keep your image size around 600pixel maximum dimension. Should be not more than 150KB

Bienvenue "Perdue2" :-D

Sounds like you'll have your hands full on that trip! I only have 2 kids and that can be a challenge, but at least you got the right vehicle now. Have fun and keep us posted.

Cheers,
Mr. D

I was busy being lazy: here are some pictures "decent size" of our family's backpacking trip.

@David: We live in the Valley of Matapedia, close to the Gaspe area (Far far east...)
