just curious if someone can pick me up a duel band whip antenna at burnaby radio for me.

What kind of whip are you getting, Almac? The 108"? What's it for?

Shakespeare has a really nice set-up to go with an ATU that comes in four foot sections so you can work with a 1/4 wavelength off of the wagon (with adapters so you can work NVIS) or set up an half wavelength on the ground with guy lines. Here's the brochure:

i would drive to the coast, but going there just for an antenna would be silly i think...

So a dual band aerial, you need a mount? I have a PC Tel w/trap. What if we shipped it off to you then we could take a rain check for the coffee... PM me any appropriate information and we can ship it via dog sledge or greyhound.
