some brands don't make with greasable fittings. it is good to have that option.

From the factory the L300 upper and lower ball joints have greaseable fittings but the L400 upper and lower ball joints are non-greaseable.
Three 5 ball joints are pre-filled when they are manufactured.

I think you are wrong about it. There are ball joints for L400 with greasable fittings.

There are some aftermarket upper ball joints for the L400 with greaseable fittings but from the factory they did not come with greaseable fittings.
