Hi Folks;
I bought a bunch of these Kia filters for my L400 but Butch suggested that they would be fine on a L300 but a bit small for an L400.
$20 each.
Pick up on Annacis Island or I will bring 'em to Meets

john,
this kia filter is not good for L400 as they have small capacity of oil:
L300 engine oil capacity is 6.2 liter
L400 engien oil capacity is 8 liter
so diff of1.8 liter its a big one. pls try not to put this cheaper oil filter L400 that may cause your engine failure later
cheers;

You can get the beloved Baldwin filters from Les Hall in North Vancouver. I bought a whole case (12) last time I was there, and the quantity price was ~20$ apiece.

Ditto, got mine through local Peterbilt dealer here- worked out to slightly less than $20 each. Same brand used on the big rigs.RichD wrote:You can get the beloved Baldwin filters from Les Hall in North Vancouver. Baldwin BD28 (L300, don't know if they're the same for L400)

I can't remember what I paid for these but I assumed that $20 would be fair. Since everyone seems to agree I shouldn't use them in my L400 I just want them to go to a good home. So any L300 owner who wants them; I have 7 available for $15 each...

Oil filters are great currency for swapping favors with other Delicans. Also, $20 is fair market value (typical jobber price is $30) so why not sell them for what you paid?
