Changing steering wheels

I am hopefully picking up my new ride this weekend and I know that the steering wheel is a little on the UV cracked side. Does anyone know what bolt pattern etc these have so I can look around at what is out there for aftermarket steering wheels.

Or if someone has a spare steering wheel that doesn't look like death and wants to sell it...

I had the same UV issue as well. I used a cheap cover - looks good I think and cost is low of course. The rubber ones from Canadian Tire make a terrible toxic smell for the first few weeks but eventually fade away. I would also like to hear from anyone who has bothered to change the steering wheel to know what I'm getting into if I choose to do it - lots of nice models out there.

I was actually at VI Custom Autos in Coombs last week and I could see that he had 1 Delica steering wheel, complete with dashboard and windsheild, door hinges, brake resevoir etc. What he actually had was the front 3 feet of two Delicas, pretty much chopped off as if they'd been shoved through a big-ass band saw. I wonder what happened to the back 16 feet? Maybe the last owners pulled out to pass, stomped on the peddle and because nothing happens when you do that in a Delica on the highway, the monster tractor trailer rig behind him caught up, real fast?

Also, I did find a couple of useful posts on the UK site. It suggests which Boss hub that can be used and the modification that needs to be done in order to make it work. I think it was the C6101 and you had to remove a small amount of material to make it fit properly. It also says how not to bash yourself in the face when you remove the steering wheel...that might be helpful!

Saying that I have know idea if you can get a Boss hub in Canada or not.
