Why pay $350 for a spoiler when you can have one of these...

Post by nvanadm »

Ok, well this may not work as well as a spoiler. Lets face it, a real one doesn't do much for a Delica anyway besides making it look awesomER
It also may not hold up come spring.

I had a one of those biodegradable spoliers last week, but it melted. Thinking of contacting the manufacturer for a refund.

Au Contraire. The spoiler serves a very specific purpose: It keeps the tailgate, in particular the rear windscreen clear of debris.

In 2008 when the Mitsushi, Dino & Miss Lil' Bitchi wandered off on a little Winter sortie. The MLB (P25W) has no spoiler: Snow all over the rear windscreen. The Dino (P35W) had no spoiler: Snow all over the rear windscreen. The Mitsushi (P35W) equipped with spoiler: No snow on the rear windscreen.

Evidently you have much snow on your rear windscreen, amongst other places.

Sent from my smart pad, using a pen.

Ahh. I do remember reading about that a while back. Well, i'll wait until this one melts and then maybe invest in a real one. I love the look of them that's for sure (I hate the look of mine right now).

That is awesome! Now I want to get myself a front wheel drive car and install a massive spoiler on the back! I want lots of downforce on those rear wheels!

Ah, now that was a brilliant episode! It goes to show how much of the mods are worthless. Truth be told, a bunch of the ones I bought for my Deli are probably not needed, but look hell a cool! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Even that statements needs qualifying - The Mt. Washington ski hill on the Island has the highest snow pack of any ski hill in the country right now... And this pic is near Tahsis a couple of years back - that old cabin is about 4.5 meters tall...

Correction, the costal mountains in Vancouver have slightly more snow. Even more than Baker atually. I know this thanks to the fact that I work in a ski store and post snow reports every day. :-D

Top Gear...best show on t.v. Can't wait for the Christmas special and new series in Jan.
If anyone would like to trade locations I'd be fine with that. This province sucks, but I'm stuck here 3 more years for school.

Those pictures of the delica were taken yesterday morning...it hasn't stopped snowing yet! Supposed to stop tomorrow sometime.

I'll post more later.
