FOR SALE - Watercooled Intercooler kit

Hey guys,

I got a watercooled intercooler kit for sale for either a Delica L300/L400 or a Pajero. I bought it for my previous Delica before I sold Mitsushi. I kept it planing on mounting it on my Nissan Patrol but it's too small (4.2L engine) so it's for sale... It's a generic kit so some fiddling will be required but if you're handy it will be fine. It comes with the intercooler, enough pipes for complete plumbing, custom (and more efficient) radiator and most importantly a Bosch pump. You'll still need to provide your own 5/8" water lines, pump harness and reducers (turbo to pipe/cooler), all easily available.

You sure it's to small? It looks identical to one that can handle 700cfm and up to 600 HP( likely gas ) with a larger rad.

Diesel application is different than gas and those numbers don't really apply. I could still use it if it doesn't sell but I'll need to increase to pipes size for sure. Also the pipe routing on the cooler is wrong for my application but perfect for the Delica... This radiator is more efficient than the larger flat ones, nice little piece that is!

What diameter is the nice shiney piping and is it aluminum?

Well, the cooler in/out are 3" as Falco pointed out but the pipes should be 2 1/4" (I'll need to confirm) hence the need to use a reducer (quite common).

Is this intercooler sold yet? Where was it bought from initially?

Hi,

It's still for sale. I bought it last year from bionic on this forum (he's the one who built the cylinder style radiator). I'm pretty sure the rest of the parts are from Frozenboost. I'll be moving within the next couple months and since I need to clean up the garage, might be a good time to make an offer... How about $300? Sounds very reasonable to me!
