Make grey plastic black

Post by Artacoma »

Very cool mod
Used a propane torch ,the small handyman type with self igniter, and CAREFULLY played it over plastic bumber centre and rear step, they now look like black rubber.I should have taken before and after pics but it looked so cool doing it I couldn't stop. Do a test patch on the underside of the bumper. The fog lamp wiring does have a low melting point by the way.Cheers

I used an electric heat gun on my front bumper, I haven't done the back bumper yet but I was thinking of doing a time-lapse video of it for fun.
