Just got a L400 - learned the Headlights are pricey
any ideas for a metal Guard(s) that attaches to the bush bumper?
Nothing fancy - but functional would be great

Re: L400 HeadLight Guards
It was great to meet you on the weekend, in the snowy wilds of BC.
There is a transparent film you can buy, just cut to shape, then peel backing off, and stick onto lens. I've seen a 3m brand that is really thick, maybe 1/16th inch, but expensive. Thinner is more usual on the vehicles i have seen. Try Lordco or places. Check your prices before buying. We used it in large rolls for applying on house windows when I lived in London to deflect the blast from car bombs, maybe burglary stores here have similar.
Cheers, Christine.

There is also a hard clear plastic that can be had in the UK, but the shipper won't send them over our way due to "insurance reasons" or so they claimed. Which was strange, as they shipped nearly everywhere else!
I have been wondering if a group-buy is in order for the clear plastic snap-on lens covers.

You can buy rock/chip/3M clear film for your L400 headlights.
Search any of these :
L400 + rock + chip + headlight + guards + protect , etc....
