Ever thought about doing something like that? You can still buy the kit for it...

Re: Vote for Hitop VS Poptop
do you have a link to the kit? probably not an option as I may need the ability to sleep bodies up there in the future.

Not sure which one is a good fit for a low roof Delica.

Not sure if you've seen these but they might help:

My vote would be for Hitop though, stealthy and practical year round.

Re: Vote for Hitop VS Poptop
I was looking at that posting.....no comment other then I will be ahead cutting my roof off and building myself will save me around $9000.00 (I included the purchase price of my Delica in that (I estimate the hightop will cost me around $500.00 in materials)).
Plus I already have a furnace, sink, water, stove, toilet, cooler, inverter, LED lights and I must say the nicest slideout on a Delica I have ever seen!
Not to mention a Ghetto Snorkel (in stock at Rona for around $40.00).
Cheers

Pop-tops must be fitted in the factory. They are engineer and RTA approved and cannot be fitted by an unqualified person. Suncamper will not supply pop-top components with instructions.

Re: Vote for Hitop VS Poptop
Thanks for the links..
Looking like Hi Top is winning since I just bought a hi top roof of a 90s Dodge van. Just have to go take it off and then start cutting it down to fit and re-glass it back together.
Cut a large hole. add some bracing and paint. put the modified roof on. simple enough! Sounds easy.
