Butch @ CVI

Post by hesser »

HI there,

I am a new deli owner, 1 month and I aquired a Deli l300 with a few issues. Nothing new there. I took it to a dealer to have it looked at with your typical oil and filter change. It turned into a nightmare. They ended up doing work that I had not authorized and long story short, it was a bit of a nightmare.
Enter, Butch @ CVI. Gave him a call told him the scoop and he told me to come down last minute and he would get me in. Got him to do a Delit tune and inspect some of the other work done by the previous dealer. This is where Butch really separates himself from the rest of the group. I had to work that afternoon and he assured me that he would be done in time to get me to work. Unfortunatley, it was going to take a little more time than he had thought so he tossed me the keys to HIS van and said " give me your work address I'll drop your van off when I am done." Are you kidding me? Unreal. SO off to work I go. I am at work at 5pm, dropped the van off at about 2pm. He shows up at 8pm!!!! Says they had to to do a bunch of little adjustments etc etc. He just wanted to the best he could on it. So I ask what the charge is and not a dime over what he had originally told me. Not only that he still wanted me to take it for a burn around the block to make sure everything is good. I can't believe the service I reieved form him. I can honestly say that I will go back to him anytime I need something done. You just don't find this kind of service that often in this time.
Bottom line is CVI and Butch did some great work and even better customer service. Thank you very much Butch. Believe me, I will be spreading the word!

Agree, CVI is for sure one of the best places for your JDM. Honest and very helpful people there.

Hi Fred,

If you need a mechanic definatley go see Butch. I would also suggest you search around delic.ca for others reviews on CVI. You will see that everyone is on the same page.

Good Luck

Glad to be reading such great reviews on CVI, but I expected just as much

I'm heading west in a week, and I've got my deli booked in there for a tune and a few repairs on the 4th! Can't wait!! :-D

Just to add my two cents - CVI is a top notch shop, always fair and honest and great quality work, I send my '91 Deli there for everything. Just had a fair bit of unexpected work done and no complaints hear.....Us deli owners that don't necessarily like to wrench are lucky to have an group like that to turn to.
