Shift arm OD switch replacement

Post by jcolvin »

The OD button went, I tried to fix it using the method described here : http://www.mdocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16646 but it was too far gone. So I dremelled away some of the end of the arm and epoxied a SPDT switch in place. It looks like it grew a tumor now but it works fine :) A smaller SPDT switch would probably be more elegant, but i couldn't find one that looked like it would last.

Nice! I've got a similar setup going on, although mine is mounted down low on the side of the steering column by my right knee.
