probably same guys as in this thread :

http://www.delica.ca/forum/parting-out- ... -9523.html

Some prices are okay and some are ridiculously high. Seems like they're just pulling numbers out of the air for parts. Could be good if you are looking for something.

I know Granola was mine (the Chamonix with the lift and Dakar / Metal Monkey decals) and then Rick (last owner) got rear ended by an 18wheeler at full speed. Pushed Granola over a BMW and crushed 5 other vehicles. Considering the impact between a rig and cars, the steel rear bumper saved their hides. The damage on the rear hatch was from the tire carrier pushed inwards. If it weren't for the bumper between them and the 18wheeler, it would have probably crushed 1/2 the Deli.

Same people are wrecking both. Evolved Auto in Poco. I've gone to look at both and have picked up a steering wheel hub adaptor and a lot of bungee cords, oil, etc. The white one has a Devils own system in it that may be valuable to someone and some aftermarket spot lamps but those have a chip in them. The guys there are not talkative but nice enough although they know nothing of how much things should cost. I got a good deal because I only took things that no one else would.

$200 for 2 front seats from Granola that are falling apart
$25 for the small circular mirror on the front that is partially rusted
$250 for used radiator
$650 for Rims
$600 for a used lift kit that you would have to remove yourself. Same kit jfarsang sells for $750ish but with procomp 3000 shocks instead of 9000
I was quoted a few other outrageous prices and in the end left with not too much but I made it worth the trip.

PS. They say they will take offers but that means you say a price, they come back with a higher price they have already set and then aren't willing to negotiate. I have mentioned that somethings are overpriced and told them what they are worth new but that doesn't seem to have affected their pricing at all.

I shouldn't say the same kit you sell jfarsang as that was just one of your older kits :-D

Funny pricing.

Some wreckers are just morons for charging new prices for old metal.

I asked them what they wanted if I came and cut the roof off one for fabing my top. Non glass non sunroof (no value).

For that price I will let them crush (I am the only person that is looking to by the roof trust you me!)

One of the white Delicas is our old Dino: http://www.delica.ca/forum/fs-camperize ... -7753.html
The new owner had an accident on the Sea-to-Sky a couple month ago.

I contacted them about a few parts, but they were not helpful. Also the prices they have in mind are just ridiculous.

Anyway, if some is looking for good upholstered front seats, a rebuilt IP or almost new transmission mounts, this would be your chance.....if you can bring the price down.

Unfortunately the custom bed is broken, the rims may have damage, fog lights are chipped, seats and carpets look to be in rough shape. I picked up the petrolabs additive, oil, windshield washer fluid, etc but some of it looks to have spilled.

There are still lots of goodies on here but you will definitely need some very good bargaining skills to get anywhere near a good deal.
