extra light in head light ???
Hi all I changed my low beam bulbs this weekend and noticed a halogen light in between the main and high beam on the bottom part of the light bit..... there is a wire that comes off it as well.... Does any one know how to get these going and / or what they are for ???

with a good bulb, you can use them as daytime running lights or headlight indicators

Re: extra light in head light ???
What are your current DRL's ?
The best is to use it's own circuit instead of splicing into the headlight switch in case it fries. $$$
Under fuse box in the engine bay there is a 1" thick set of wires running vertically. Inside you'll need to find a black wire with a blue stripe. There's four of them. One of them will be the correct one: off/no power - acc/no power - on/power test with a test light while someone turns the key to the different positions
Splice the daytime running lights into this wire with a 10 amp in-line fuse.
