LWB Fuel Tank Capacity and Other Specs

Post by Orionsbelt »

I've been coming across different posts and haven't seen anything that's clear.

Came across this link. States the SWB is 75 litres and I've seen others describe the same.

LWB is 92 litres according to this link.

I've done fill ups at 65 or so litres and the warning light -assuming it works - hasn't come on.

Thoughts...?

Diesel pajero's have a 15L reserve beyond the fuel light. So you haven't even emptied the tank yet! I was almost hell bent on driving it dry just to see how much more range I had, but a few calculations brings you close enough. Oh, and I also thought the warning light was not working, then the fuel sender. I think just like any fuel gauge they can be deceiving on either end of the reading.

All LWB's are 92 and shorty's are 75.

The reserve light comes on at different points in different Paj's. Around 65-75L is when it usually comes on
