Help, R.H. front caliper

Post by Carp »

Hey fellas, my L400 is in at kirkham auto for a set of front pads. Just got the call that the R.H. front caliper is siezed and I also need new caliper bolts. Can anyone point me in the right direction to attain these? My mechanic tried Rocky mountain imports but no luck so far. (I believe I am searching for same as 1994 Montero (3.0 L) calipers)

NAPA Canada stocks them

94 Montero V6 3.0L

Or try Lordco and replace both if you can. If one is seized, the other may not be far behind and you'd have to repeat this process over again.

Ooh... that's a drag. Napa is a good place to get stuff... and they are pretty friendly too. Don't think we have Lordco here in Calgary, unfortunately. CCAuto on Vancouver Island is another good place for parts if you're ever stuck. Always good to have a few options in your back pocket.

Hope you get it done quickly so we can get back out to the bush for another trek very soon.
Cheers!
