Is it not in the manual in "L400 Delica Downloads"?

According to: http://www.delica.ca/forum/mitsubishi-d ... -7500.html Page 34.

It takes up to 8.5L of DextronII (it depends on if you will be emptying the torque converter (full of dirty oil).

Cheers

The proper way to change the auto trans fluid is to drain the auto trans, measure what you take out, replace the filter, bolt it up and replace the amount of trans fluid you removed.

There is also more old fluid left over in the front cooler. To flush that, remove the outlet hose and with the engine running, cycle through the shifter in each gear while the fluid comes out. Before it stops shut off the engine and then top up the amount of fluid that came out of the cooler lines.

Repeat as needed to flush the contaminated oil out of the system until the colour remains pinkish red.

I actually paid to have it done in my car. They hook up the two cooler lines. One line collects dirty fluid other line they added the new fluid. Gets all the oil (no filter in this trans though).
