Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
Hey folks,
Anyone have any advice on sourcing Fender Flares or a Terzo ladder for my L400 low roof? Seems that the flares in particular might be darn near impossible to find.
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
I have been toying with the idea of ordering some from the delica shop in Australia,
I ordered a snorkel kit for my L300 through them last year and the shipping was more than the part , but the service was good if a little slow and the parts were great.
Now I am thinking of ordering a spoiler and flares from them for my L400, I'm at work now so I don't have time to look at the prices and stuff but if you are interested in a joint buy I would put in the order if you sent me a deposit and we could save on shipping.
I'll look into it some more on the weekend.
cheers

Might be a few of us interested in a group buy. I know they are a pain in the ass but the serious people would buck up. Been looking on that site at the spoiler as well.

I might be into a set of intercooler pipes and a spoiler. I have also been chatting with them about a fog light off one of their wrecked vehicles, maybe they would throw that in. All of this spending has to be ran past my wife (AKA - The Banker) of course.Artacoma wrote:I will put together a group buy , this coming weekend I'll make some calls about shipping costs depending on how many of you chirp up, I'm after a spoiler and some flares , they ain't cheapso be ready to pony up.

LOL, Cregan, I can relate, as I think I'm in the same situation. I started this thread and would love to get in on the action.CREGAN wrote:All of this spending has to be ran past my wife (AKA - The Banker) of course.
However, my priorities right now are a ladder and then I was planning a gauge project - Pyro etc - so I'm not sure if I can Pony up for the flares.
I don't want to miss the boat though. I know the flares are about $370. If you guys are placing an order and know about what the final cost may be after shipping I will seriously consider going for a set of flares as well even if I have to shelve one of my other projects.
Thanks Guys,
Kevin.

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
I'm finally getting some Craigslist interest for my KLR 650 motorcycle that I'm selling. If I sell it I have clearance to buy goodies for the Spacegear and I'll be in FOR SURE for a set of flares.
I'll keep Y'all posted.
BTW, if anybodies interested in buying a KLR 650 let me know, lol.

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
So this is the reply I got back from Mark at the Delishop:
If anyone wants to get in on the action I'll make a group order , If you have made more than 5 posts on this site I'll take your word that you'll pay up when the time comes or suffer eternal ridicule.
All savings in shipping and and multiple orders will be evenly distributed to those buying
I will charge actual costs only.
You cannot ask how much that is until the shipment arrives as I only have approximate numbers.
The ONLY way to get in on the order is to PM me with what you want ordered, I will reply at the end of next week when the order has been paced and keep you updated on shipping.
Checkout the delicashop site to see what else available. http://www.delicashop.com/
When the shipment comes you will buy me coffee and pie at the unwrapping party!
I hope to be able to get the order placed next friday AUG 5
Shipping from Australia is not fast
cheers
Sorry to the OP for the hijack but I figure anyone interested has already tagged this post
I am going to order a set of flares and a spoiler for myself. The postage is the unknown until packed but sent a set to Germany recently and was $110AUD per set so can be slightly cheaper to jam a few sets in (allow $110 as a base price then $75 per set thereafter should cover it.
Cost per set including screws and rubber moulding is 1set $330, 2 sets $630, and after that $300 per set (if ordering 3 or more at a time).
Professionally made and thick fibreglass unlike some of the ones in Japan that you can see through.
I also have square series 1s as well (no pics avail as yet) but have a set off to Scotland
Spoilers are a lot harder but can get an aftermarket ones for $125AUD a piece and cheaper EMS shipping than Japan. They are not factorybut ahve the LED light in them with no air deflector opening like the factory one. There is a small sized one *(about 5") and a much larger one around 10" and easy to install.
