JDM Navi's

Post by Bonsai »

Hi Guys,
I have a few Japanese navigation systems kicking about that I've pulled from various cars. Usually I am not able to program and map them in English for NA. I wind up sending them back to JP and selling them on yahoo jp

Recently though I got what looks like a brand new Yupiteru- dash mount 4" navi. Has anybody had luck getting these to work over here?

Regards,
bonsai/Craig

Off topic kinda, but I have an old mitsubishi brand nav system from mine, any chance this can be reprogrammed for english? If not, would you be interested in it?

Hi Fishtank, I haven't had any luck with the older manufacturer stuff- just some of the much newer models. More recently I tried to get a Panasonic Strada to work, but couldn't change the language settings.
Unfortunately, most of the navis only seem to be of value on yahoo auctions in Japan rather than here.
