Camping -2 Adults and 2 Kids (4.5 and 8 years) Delica stays!

So we went for our first Camping Trip up in the Shuswap.

I built a plywood bench that mounts at the dash (advantage of the removable steering wheel) for the 8 year old. the fold down bench became the 4.5 year olds bed. We slept in the slide out.

The fibreglass roof (thanks TardisDeli) gave use storage for cloths bags up over the cab. On the slide the blankets....

Looks like the Delica will work for us for a while.

Drive was good van ran good...I went over the connector from Westbank to Merritt climbing in 3rd gear, 2,800 rpm and temp stayed down in the bottom 1/4 of the guage (my EGT gauge is almost hooked up).

No, No, mixed up your SuperHeroes, it is not Spiderman --- look closely at the logo on the waterbottle beside Shorter Superhero ... it is the Superman logo, thus we deduce the Masked Shorter Superhero is really Clark Kent. Christine.

Ooohhh, not "budget middle room", much more posh to call it the "Dining Room" (and it has the bonus of better access to the fridge for nighttime snacking).
