Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

rear window seal

Post by speshul_deli~very »

this may be a dumb question, but the seal around my rear window (L400) looks like it melted in Japan's heat and extruded around the sides of the window. now the extruded sealant is cracked, although still watertight. is the fix as simple as taking it to an autoglass shop so they can pull the rear window, redo the sealant, and press on the window again?

all you DIY types will now impress me with tales of pulling this off in the garage with a product available at a hardware or marine store. 

X2
My rear seal is very cracked and not really sure if it is water tight anymore. I was thinking of taping it off and running a bead of silicone over the existing crap.

Hi, craig,
you can do seal all around in by urethane they used in cars;
there is a seland around the rear glass.
its just the design is not nice on this.
we do many of this mostly L400
its an easy fix guys
cheers;
