GW "search" all the topics you want info on. It's probably been discussed before and available by searching the site.

Go to CVI in Richmond the know the motor and will use correct filters oil. You do not want to save $$$ using low quality stuff diesels oils is everything.
Do not drive it like a gas motor if pushing the "gas" pedal down does not make it go faster...do not push it more it will just make heat and can damage a diesel motor.

To good to answer questions...you guys are "UNREAL"
Not all owners share the same half ass, speculative knowledge you clowns think you have.
I just lost all respect I had for you "long time" members.
...unbelievable.

Re: what should be noticed before or after using 4m40 engine
The so called "degradation" of forums happens when a topic becomes more mainstream and more people seeking the given information join the crowd. Yes, people ask the same questions as have been asked before, but if we encourage them, and help them with answers - both by posting links and by offering answers (even if they are in the FAQ) we will make for a better community.
