Re: setting up side pictures
Hi Patty
Unfortunately, I cannot allow Avatars to be of unlimited size (to do so would result in a “squishing” of the viewable area). However, if you e-mail me the photo you wish to use, I’m happy to resize it and upload it as your avatar.
Cheers,
Mark

OR download IRFANVIEW. It is extremely easy to use and free. Go to http://www.nonags.com and download it there.

Try this link http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/
It's pretty simple: upload the image you want to use, set the size to 99, and create. Then download whichever option you like best, probably centre-cropped. You will then need to upload to this site by editing your profile and following the links.

Re: setting up side pictures
http://www.irfanview.com/ works for me, when viewing your photos in Inranview ya "save as" then an option box comes up beside where ya want to save it. there is a sliding bar for percentage of original >jpg size.
