Hi from Australia everyone! been on the site a year or so but only recently started doing some work on the Del.
I ran into a few problems a while back and have been doing some engine work and found that I have broken this thing
from what I have read its something to do with controlling the throttle when the ac is switched on, is this correct? thing is I can't find a replacement and i have gutted my car of the a/c system so I was wondering if I could remove this completely and just block both vac lines that run to it?
my other question is regarding the loom it plugs into... from what I can see it seems completely a/c related however I have followed it up under the dash and it splits up. Is this loom just for the a/c and if so can I remove it if I have no air con anymore??
thanks
Dan,

Could you drill it a bit bigger and epoxy a copper tube in its place?
Measure it twice, cut once. Dam still cut wrong

AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS FOR IDLE TO GO UP WHEN YOU TURN ON THE AC. YOU WILL STILL HAVE AC IF YOU REMOVE IT, BUT YOUR IDLE HAS TO RAISE UP A BIT.
