Proof is in the plastic strung behind me, on the rocks, that the Delica is not a heavy duty off road machine. I was climbing a steep hill and decided that the crunches underneath were reason to carefully back down. Was driving straight up the middle, on a old ski run at Forbidden Plateau. Great spot to 4x4 and explore with some great views; would make a sweet location for a mid island Delica meet. Though I couldn't picture a shiny FannyBay Delica driving up there, but Andy could ride with me.
Needless to say the housing was smashed, the fan had 8 blades knocked off and the do-hicky behind the red arrow was ripped apart. I have sealed the hole but now don't have a rear heater till I replace that do-hicky (rheostat or thermocouple (?)). Look out Glen, here I come. Again.
Tread lightly kiddos.
