Have them correct the grammar while you're at it and get them to rewrite it out one hundred times after class.

Falco.
Actually, the Official Languages Act only applies to the Federal Government: government is to be conducted in both languages; laws are to be enacted in both languages; the federal public service is to be bilingual in certain designated geographical areas; and a person can come before a federal court in either offical language.

Some provinces have expanded upon the OLA, but only New Brunswick is bilingual. In fact, most provinces are like America - there is no declared official language, only a language de facto, but not de jure.

So, you can ask for the taunt to be written in French, but the originator cannot be compelled to provide it thus.

For what it's worth - I've had my Delica for four years now, and I have not had a single incident of anti-RHD sentiment. I think these guys are far and few between. He's probably jealous!
As long as its not broken antenna's and slashed tires.. but like abusing small animals for pleasure it all starts with an innocent note under the wipers... guy needs to get a life.

Unbelievable  I hope someone catches him in the act and has the opportunity to talk some sense into him about this subject. Maybe take him for a ride and show him there is no issue.

LOL, that really is hilarious, an almost pointless protest.

I admit to having a secret desire to carry a stash of this article printed off, in the van though, and distribute them as needed.

Hi All,

Can a bunch of us with too much time on our hands, drive our horrible RHD vehicles to the crime scene, stake it out, and enjoy a cup of java?
He or she would more than likely would run out of leaflets! I love those that are full of ignorance punctuated with a strong aroma of arrogance!

Keep well,

Joe

I sense some RHD trauma in this person's past...

"We were all out at the zoo one day. I was doing some left hand acting, walking on the railing of the gorilla exhibit. I fell in. Everyone screamed and Tommy jumped in after me, forgetting that he had blueberries in his front pocket.. his right hand pocket. The gorillas just went wild. They drove all over his body in their right hand drive diesel vehicles and... threw him around like a rag doll to get to those blueberries. One gorilla in a right hand drive diesel vehicle would throw him to another gorilla in a right hand drive diesel vehicle who, tossed him to another... Everyone panicked and cried out for somebody to help but it was too late. The gorillas beat him to death, before the zookeepers could gas them all. My left hand acting got my brother killed. I got to live with that, every single day."

Why does this sort of thing never happen to me? I would love to get that leaflet!

And like most of you I'm sure, I would love to catch the person in the act to hear their protest.
It would be wonderful to have a spirited 'debate' with someone who would not only take the time to type out a leaflet but also took the time and effort (and potential risk) to place it on a windshield.

It would be fun to discuss the issues :)

But then again, I also have a left hand drive vehicle... I wonder if I'm just not right enough? (RIGHT enough... hehe).
