I know this is a Delica based site, But I figure it's ok since it's still a mitsubishi lol.
My older brother is also registered on this site as cruisn06, with the red MKI in Oz.

So this is my 1991 LWB Pajero, 2.5L with a 5spd and 5.29 gears, LSD Rear.
It has PW/PL/AC Rear Heat(no workie) and a sunroof lol
33x10.5x16 tires(more like 32" I guess), wheels are two piece
Manual locking hubs
2" Sway-away Lift
Roof Basket with ladder
2.5" Exhaust
Currently running 0.8 Bar boost
Turbo timer
EGR Delete
And a few other things, but thats all I can recall for now.

She's well broken in with unknown mileage, but with what I learnt from the previous owner it should be around 260k.

I recently replaced most of the washers and fuel leak off rail since I had a good sized leak, but now I have another leak from the pump...Ordered a seal kit so hopefully I can have it fixed asap, I hate seeing drips anywhere near my vehicle...

Another issue I've run into, is after I installed my EGR delete the truck actually smokes more? And is sluggish once I hit 3rd...Could this be related to off boost fueling being increased and then the change in air/fuel ratio with the EGR delete?

The Pajero might not have been the best choice for my self, due to the mileage I put on vehicles, but I enjoy every minute driving it!

Well well well, if it isn't another clean looking Pajero! I was beginning to think mine was the only one! Lol nice ride. I like the colour. Sounds like your into the details like myself. As for you're rear A/C it can be fixed I am sure. If you were in Vancouver I would be your guy to do that As for your rear heater... Well if it is the top vent heater it may just be weak. It is just a ceramic heater that is in the duct after the fan of the A/C in the back behind the wheel well. It heats up but not that much, good luck trying to find a new one. I figure a modified ceramic heater might just make my truck catch fire if not careful so I'm not even going to go there.

Your EGR being removed is good. Mine is much better since I binned it. Just be sure you blocked off the vacuum hose correctly or you may be having issues because of this.

Where did you get your gaskets for the fuel leak? Mine is leaking out of the tank from the filler hose. Seems like a pain so I'll leave it till winter is over.
Any way.. have fun with it and if you put a lot of km on your trucks this is a good truck for you, engine has a 300000 MILE estimated life span before you should see issues.

Haha, Thanks! I haven't looked into the heater very much yet, but now with the cold coming I figure It would be best...I haven't checked the lines for heat, but the fan itself is kaput. As for the EGR, everything is installed properly, but I think it's fueling too hard before I get into boost (nothing I can't fix with a bit of tuning). And since installing it does feel smoother at idle and less laboured.

I've been getting most of my parts from Milner Offroad. Pretty cheap, and the shipping is awesome...usually four days to get from the UK to my place outside Edmonton.
Only part I don't like about highway driving is the rpm range...Even with the tires I think the speedometer is only 6-7% out, So I never take it over 3200rpm, and usually limit myself to 3000rpm which is about 97km/h which equals to "slowest man on the highway" lol.

Well having an A/T I will say that cruising speed 120km or so 135 even depending where I am is no problem and 3700 revs is typical. I would say just keep it under 4000 and your safe. I only have issues loaded up hill. It bogs down even peddle to the metal. I have a power option on mine that seems to change the gear ratio when I use it keeping the revs higher. This helps with highway and hills but its still sluggish up hill. But no problems going 130 plus on flat. 145 is where things get shaky. So you are fine with 110km/h I should think.
Just keep an eye on your temps and under 4000 revs and life is peachy.

Have you had your injectors tuned timed and cleaned yet? That might help your issue with over fuelling. Mine had shit mileage until I had this done. I was shooting far to much diesel at to low a pressure through my injectors and burning up way to much diesel. It is heaps better now since I had it done. It was 300$ at CVI (our local god of anything JDM) but well worth it. If I had have done it from day one I would have it paid off in fuel savings by now.

Yikes, That's too fast for my liking haha...With most hills I drop down to 80km/h or 2500rpm (steep hills), seems to like it there and then I'm not to the floor either. I don't have an EGT gauge yet, so I just assume it's damn hot and try not to get into the smoke.

When I had the fuel system apart I cleaned my injectors but didn't have them tested or tuned (I was short on time)..But it's only over fueling until I get into boost. I still get awesome fuel economy on the highway but it wouldn't hurt to have a diesel specialist take a look at things. Next time I have everything apart I'll probably try turning the off boost fueling back a quarter and see what that nets.

That's normal for any Diesel. I wouldn't worry about that smoke. I don't get quite that much unless its cold. But if I kick it I do get a puff from stop.
