I am wondering about the double piston caliper's upgrade

Post by TanTre »

Hi.

I am wondering about the double piston caliper's upgrade. I've been looking for some new calipers, and I've found some for the L400/pajero genII, but they are for a brake disk thickness of 24cm. The brake disk is 22cm thick for my L300. Does it make any difference?? Or should I buy a new brake disk that are 24cm?? Or new 22cm??

I have also looked at calipers at "Milner off road jappanes 4x4 parts".

"BRAKE CALIPER FRONT L/H *RECON EXCHANGE*"

-"*RECON EXCHANGE*" -what does that mean?

And I am also wondering about the brake carrier; do i need a new one, or does the L300 original fit?

Thanks.

Hey Tantre, how'sitgoin',?

Enter "Dual Piston Calliper" into the search engine at the top of the page, there have been some useful threads that you may find of some interest... smiles.

Regarding "Recon Exchange" ~ I think that's when two spy agencies compare notes?
