California Dreaming becomes Reality.

This is my first attempt at uploading photos, so here goes nothing!

Took a trip from Vancouver to Santa Cruz, California mid-August. Clocked over 4,500 km all in all. It was an amazing trip, 9 days total.

Needless to say, "Yoko" performed flawlessly and we slept soundly every night. Next
trip we're heading further south.

Very nice picture, Glad to see your deli-in US state highway, when i go so seattle many looks head-up to my delica, i guess you to, when you reach San Francisco i guess there wondering where you got this delica . its a nice van fun to drive & comfortable. you got a good choice getting this Delica. hope you enjoy it for a long time.

Yes, lots of curious looks and questions down south of the border. Yoko was remarked on so many times in so many different ways that she's been rechristened as the "bitchin badass,all opposite van"

That is great. Awesome photo's. I just did the same thing in aug. in my 1978 vw camper !! From vancouver Down to Sanfran and back !! I am still waiting on my 91 s-exceed to get shipped but next year i will do the trip in it. If you go all the way down the coast from here stop in and see the solar/alternative energy place in hopland california.

Great Pics, we just got back from Disneyland today ourselves. I see you took the scenic route, we just booted down the I-5. Caught the tailend of tropical cyclone Ling-ling coming through Burlington, the wind was incredible but Frankendeli made it through then halfway down Cali torrential downpours hit, once again Frankendeli did just fine. The dust from the Santa Anas and the smoke from the fires down in Orange County left a nice film (I like to think of it as a protective coating) on Frank. All that inclement weather and four of us sleeping in rest stops all the way down. We still had a blast!

Mt Shasta was behind Frank when I took the pic, but you can't see it here. I blame plate tectonics!!

It's called Orange County because the wild fire smoke makes the sunshine orange.
