I replaced my rad when i bought the vehicle 3 years ago. I hope it doesn't need a new one already.
I'm assuming that plate isn't super important if you've had yours off for over a year.

unable to find the leak myself, I took it up to Rob at E4 auto in Duncan.
the leak was coming from the neck of the radiator itself, where it feeds into the upper hose.
$1094 later I have a refurbished rad and every hose in the system has been replaced.
time for some winter busking to pay off that upcoming visa bill!
