1988 van, no water temp gauge, fuel gauge, radio

hi,
i recently purchased an 1988 mitsubishi van
it has 88,200 miles
gas gauge and water temp gauge do not work
nor does radio

any help would be appreciated

Do you have any photos? Sounds like you have a vanwagon which is a bit different, but we can perhaps help.

I believe people in the states buy those, bring them to Canada and have them "converted" into Delicas to legally import them.

Do you have a manual for your van? I would first check the fuse box for a blown fuse. I once experienced all my cluster lights, running lights and stereo all go out at the same time. It was due to a plastic connector in the battery bay that turned out to be fried ~ but remember that there are differences between a JDM L300 Delica and a NA L300 Vanwagon.

hmmm, well the gas gauge started working, no to the others, there is no fuse for the radio or gauges

ive never heard of an automobile that does not have a fuse for the radio

Maybe they are tied into another fuse, does your horn work?
