**SOLD**For Sale: Snow Tires

Post by shealy »

EDIT: Tires are sold!

Finally got new Geolanders on my Deli thanks to Artacoma(Rik) and they look great! I have a set of Snow Tires that were on there before that I'm trying to get rid of if anyone is interested:

Triangle "Snow Lion"
215/70R15 (98T TR777)

The sizing will fit the stock "teardrop" shape rims. I'm not sure what % tread is left, but it looks like there's about 3/4 cm deep tread left. I had these tires on snow covered logging roads earlier in the year and was totally comfortable and in control at 50-60km! I would assume at least 2 winters left in them (especially if only put on for the winter months). I'm thinking maybe $150 or any reasonable offer! Its supposed to be a cold and snowy winter! Thanks guys!

(pic that shows the tread left)

Judging by the wear pattern on the outside edge of that tire and not on the inside edge, I'd say you're wheel alignment is a bit off.

That being said, 150$ for a set of four tires - that's pretty gorram good in my books! Too bad I've got a set of brand news just bought or I might have taken you up on the offer.

The alignment shouldnt have been off. It had been aligned at CVI earlier on in the year!

I too had mine aligned there earlier in the year and had to take it back to have them re-do it because for some reason the machine had been malfunctioning. That could be your problem!?

The question is did that wear occur prior to the alignment or after? Fixing the alignment will not put rubber back on tires :-D

Also, even aligned you need to rotate often on the Delica to get even wear of the tires.
