Nope, it wasn't me.
Do you know where I can get an alternator rebuilt/reconditioned in the Pembina Valley? I live near Morden...

How soon do you need it as I may be interested in selling Mine? it is new as of Dec. 2010. I didn't have time to locate a bigger one last year when I bought it from Mardy and settled for a stock size. I'm planning to put some decent draw on mine and would ideally like to upgrade. Problem is, I can't do this swap over night as I need to locate a bigger alternator first and my seperated shoulder injury from last week needs some more healing time.

I'll get back to you as I may not need it now. While I was investigating the cause of my problems, I found a blown 100A fuse in the fuse box and replaced it...all my electrical accessories are working again.
Batteries were right dead last time I used the truck and it was only running for about 30 minutes, but when I tested the volage with a meter at the battery it was 13 volts with no electrics running and 12 with the headlights on. So it's a bit low but I'll have to check it again once the batteries have returned to normal.
Ill writer your name down in case I need one though!

Re: Frost Plug location 4M40 engine
Installed a block heater on my 4d56t yesterday.
Can't believe how much crap I've read online about how hard this is to do on the Pajero. Its not hard at all and I'm nowhere near being a mechanic.
Finding a frickin' air filter for this thing was more difficult.
