Inclinometer Ball for L400

Post by prairiefire »

I'm looking for a working or non-working Inclinometer ball for my L400. Mine has been painted over by the dumb@$$ I bought it from. Anyone know how to remove spray paint on plastic without damaging it? Acetone perhaps?

thanks,

K

acetone may damage the plastic, but if its already useless then not much to lose my trying. I took mine out as i replaced it with a EGT gauge, So you could have mine but the greenish liquid has leaked out some where i think its supposed to be 1/2 full its only a 1/4 full

Same problem , mine has no liquid in it. How hard it is to install a EGT gauge  :?:

It was not too hard to do took a little time, but I bought the EGR blocking plate from here that had been drilled and tapped to fit the temp probe. If you do a search on here you can find more info on it. Its a good thing to have especially if you are going to tow anything.
