Re: Delicat's new ride! Nissan Safari
I also mounted some interior lights I got cheap at Princess Auto. These are the marine style that can be moved around or stay hooked against the body panel. Good reading lights while camping and can also be used when I'm outside the truck cooking...
Pretty straight install. Just ran new wires from the lights onto a single switch at the front and onto a secondary fuse panel Jay installed previously. Here's a few pics:

Schweet! Nice looking housing.
Old wireman's trick - If you put a black zap-strap/tie-wrap snug onto the cable on either side of the grommet as close as you can get it and clip off the excess, the little ratchet head end that remains will act as a pretty good strain relief if you or some degenerate decides to yank on the wire.

And since I'm on the light side of things here's a few more. This one is a pretty bad ass LED that light the driver's side of the truck. It's very useful when setting up camp. It's also pretty cool when I pull out the awning and shine it against the awning's roof. Makes for a very useful light when I cook under the awning. Since these are all LED they don't put much drain on my batteries. The last pictures shows where I mounted some of the switches...

Re: Delicat's new ride! Nissan Safari
And finally the monsters... A new front bar compliment of Jfarsang hosting 3 HID LightForce (2 spots, 1 flood/spot combo). These lights are hooked onto a 3 way switch allowing me to have them come alive when I hit my highbeam or on their own/off. Jay gave me a good hand on those... thx!
The winch is a 12 volts Warn 8274 running on my 24 volts system. It makes for one speedy winch! I changed the original steel cable for a synthetic line (way lighter now). I've had the pleasure to use the winch on quite a few occasions on our last Whipsaw outing, I'm still waiting for some beer for those I pulled out!
I first had issue with my LightForce as they started taking water the first week I installed them. I had bought them over a year ago so the warranty had expired but after a couple calls to LightForce USA they ended up exchanging them with 3 new lights. Mounted those back and WTF?!? One of them is still taking water! Another call and a week later a received a gift via UPS. A new HID light and 3 new orange light covers for free. Yeah man! Can't say enough good thing about these guys, they were great to deal with, sent me replacement lights within days each time and now I have an extra light (they told me to keep my old one!). Sweet! So great service on great lights! They aren't cheap but I can't see no-name Chinese brand giving me this type of service...
Cheers!

Yes, that was frost. Even got some pretty cool frosty artwork that morning on my hood!
Here's a better picture of my backup light acting incognito...
And my off road lights putting on their sunglasses (compliment of LightForce, thx!)
And some gauges to monitor the goodies, Boost (not hooked yet), Amps/Volt meter, wvo fuel, EGT.
And the power source... (more to come in new wvo post)'93 Nissan Patrol

David, your truck looks absolutely incredible-- and I know how much you've already done that is unseen... after you've maxed out and have upgraded/modded everything possible and grow bored with this thing of beauty you've built... I'M CALLING DIBS ON AQUIRING IT FROM YOU!!!
Just kidding... I have a feeling you'll be keeping this one for awhile.
Amazing Job.
