Do only (and all) the Super Exceed have a LSD or is it an option on any of the Delica model?
And aside from different interior fabric, cool/heat box, exterior chrome bars, how does the Super Exceed differs from the Exceed with Crystal lite roof?
Thanks,
David

most of the super exceeds have the LSD, but not all... not sure if any of the lower ones do...
What we have noticed with the Delicas is that they have MANY options, and not tied to the spec level, so depending what the original owner wanted, you can end up with an exceed with more options than a super-exceed...
The Delica wasn't done like a north american vehicle with "option packages" (usually about 3) it was done with a list of options where the end buyer chose exactly what they wanted from what seems like hundreds of options.
some examples include (but are not limited to):
dual dash pod, triple dash pod, window visors (several styles), low or high roof, crystal lite roof, sound stage stereo, cool box, rear climate controls, 7 seat, 8 seat, many different uppholstry choices, curtains, power curtains, sunroof, dual sunroof, trailer hitches, chrome bull-bars, fog lights, winches, driving lights, roof racks, rear spoiler, window tinting, various decalling packages, several table and cabinetry options, TV, manual or automatic transmission... and that doesnt even get in to the aftermarket accessories that many owners have added to these vans!
I recommend the Super Exceeds because they are more likely to have more options, but really you have to just decide what's important to you, and work from there, personally I ignored the trim level, but looked for something with a crystal-lite roof, and in a 7 seater, and started to look at vans that matched that requirement.

Thanks, another very useful reply on Delica.ca!
Well, I put a bid yesterday on a 91 Super Exceed with around 77000km, grade 4 interior BB and just found out 5 minutes ago that I secured the bid. So right now I'm just another one of those excited future Delica owners waiting to get more details on the rig.
So thanks again,
David

there's a sticker on the diff, you can also tell by model number (on the same plate as the vin number under the carpet flap below the driver's seat), I posted in another thread a link to where you can search based on that model number.
