fuel tank release
The lever that activates the little door to my fuel tank is no longer working. I had to lift the front seat and find the cable that connects it and then yank on it with more force than I was comfortable with in order to fill the tank. I now have to fix it. Has anyone had experience with this?

Re: fuel tank release
Well mine stopped working the other day, after i asked my son to operate it. I am sure there was no correlation between the events haha. So I saw that the cable end, red Nib, had come out of its position and that was why it had stopped working. At first I thought the Nib should be under the metal V looking bracket but actually the red Nib is intended to be wedged about mid-point into the V'ish wedge. All fine now, hopefully that gets the door operating as it should, I found it quite infuriating at the time.
