Picked up a MileMarker winch, Autometer Pyrometer kit, and managed to source a matching boost gauge at my local performance shop. Stared at the ocean map attempting to guestimate where the Greenpoint is on its voyage to BC with some of our JDM stuff....Waiting sucks.
Yeah I joined the Dark Side because the medical plan is top shelf!

As mentioned above what I really noticed most (and best) is the cab is not so drafty now. So the pan with a little extra weather stripping around the engine access (ie: passenger seat) keeps it reasonably toasty inside the cab.
I should look at that as well, I just redid the stripping around the driver door. I should peek
at the engine bay and see if replacing that is in the cards.
Just noticed my exhaust is leaking so I believe I will have to price out a new pipe and muffler too.

I pace some extra weather striping around the passenger side of the engine hatch - very close to the edge and also around the E-brake handle. These are the 2 places that the draft was significant. As for the doors - I noticed a little moisture gets past the front edge of the door seal (driver's side). But short of insulating the door - they allow for a lot of coolness to transpire.

Re: What did you do to your Delica today?
I noticed an exhaust smell that was quite strong in the cab today. I had seen before that when it was reall cold I thought I could see the EGR blanking plates letting off a little exhaust smoke- so I re-gooped the crap out of them today. Started scouting out the job at hand of trimming the fenders a little because I am experiencing wheel rub on the front. I think it is rubbing on both the front and back of the fender and the flares on the drivers side and only on the front of the passenger side. I have a nice set of mud-flaps just waiting to get put on but until I can get my hands on a Dremel they will have to wait.

Striped out the hole putting the bolt back in on the EGR plates. Awesome. Now what to do? I went and bought another bolt and it seems to be holding, but I am afraid to really put some torque on it. Someday something I do will be easy....hopefully.

Had the oil/filter, ATF & air filter changed.
Notice I said "had". OK I paid for it, so I did do something.

More like last night.. but I did the quarterly service. New oil and filter, fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, rear diff and transfer case fluids, auto and front was still freshish. Good to go until 155000 Oh, and I also sprayed another can of fluid film under the whole thing. Love that stuff.

Got Blueberry some new rubber. Went down to 33's instead of the 35's I inherited. The ride is soooo much nicer.
Of course while the wheels were off, it exposed some nastiness. (see image)
Fortunately, it got welded back together for the small price of a case of refreshing lager.
Here is a not so good quality image of new tires.
The drive home was remarkably better!

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Committed my Delica to some necessary service at CVI. New steering and suspension parts, fluid services, L400 rims and tires, headlights, alignment, Delicatune.....long list of preventive maintenance stuff.
New Pyro and boost gauges, glow plugs and shocks are at home waiting for the day I bring it home.

Fixed a few small electrical gremlins, and peeled off the chromed aluminum rims and then spent the day stripping the rims cleaning then spraying hem with black bed liner. Looks so much better
