Buying Diesel Jerry Cans.

Post by del400 »

I was looking everywhere for some nice looking and not the generic kind of cans.

So, if you like the metal ones (super nice and long lasting) they are $50 each plus shipping from here. I would love these.

But I really didn't want to pay almost $60 each for a jerry can. So I found plastic ones for $25 each plus shipping (4 of them) cost me $120.

Here is where.

No we can go right through bush and not around it.
The happiness we find, we make.

they do the job but they are not comparable to military grade Scepter's.

Moeller puts this quote in all their jerry can listings but it's false advertising

"Scepter Jerry Cans are virtually indestructible, manufacturer from high-density,unbreakable polyethylene that is rustproof, crush-resistant and non-corroding."

The only Scepter jerry cans that fall under that description are these:

@ $60 they are not cheap but you can't kill them and they won't balloon/rupture in excessive heat.

Still.. nice find at that cost. 8-)
