The signal lite on the B-pillar looks identical to the Susuki Carry's I have here. Whatever it is, it would make you look twice with a sign like that on it.

Not Thai script and definitely a Kei van, likely a zuk. Those guys would have to be 6' 6" and over 280 lbs to convince me that was a 80's Delica. :-D Give Babu a call.

I really been thinking this year I ought to carry my camera at all times because not a day goes by without seeing some cool retro ride of a type never seen on BC roads. Pass by a couple of the second gen's on the drive home regularly, even having seen two of this style in south Thailand and Malaysia in newer condition. There were sporting a different plate, Singapore I think. The 2nd gens appear as common as our beloved 3rd gen Delica's, though rarely there tagged as such (L300). See the odd 1st gen (rough but sweet looking, would look awesome beyond words with 4x4 and 32" tires) around too, having only seen 2 4th gen Delica's out side of Bangkok. Even in Laos seen many funky Russian and European rides that are pretty cool.

This fall in Sept in Bangkok saw a (tasteful) hearse using a Daihatsu Classic van, satisfies the retro desires at a good price. This in a town where a very rough Nissan Figaro is selling for $23,000 Cdn.

Upon further reflection I am incline to acquiesce both BCDelica's and Thedjjack's observations. The four stud hubs look like Suzuki, it is smaller than the 1st Generation Delica.

I am finding it harder these days to find older pictures through my Google SE.

What script would you say that is?
