What starts rusting, the hitch itself? What is a three receiver hitch?

The hitch itself gets surface rust. The metal is so thick it would take a lifetime to rust through, but the appearance isn't that nice. I will eventually take mine off and sandblast it and re-paint, but it isn't that big of a deal.
3 receiver means there are 3 ports where you can attach things like a trailer, bike rack, etc. It's handy because I have my bike rack on one side, the trailer hitch in the middle and will be adding a tire carrier to the other side. E&H will also weld on some extra tie down points at no extra cost as well as put a second coat of paint on at no extra cost in order to slow down the rusting. On top of that, each receiver is tapped with a bolt so you can eliminate play within the receiver.

As one of the first people to get a hitch on L300, and used it to tow rescue craft etc, and have seen herds of other hitches... Only recommend the Burnaby E&H Hitch, and Rick there is the Delica expert. He actually custom fits each delica, as he says there is often a difference depending on spare tire holder, muffler, LSD, and other modifications. The basic hitch part Rick has prewelded, but the connection arms size varies. I have seen many of his hitch jobs, all good, and yes it takes several hours to do properly. His wiring is also very good, unless you are expert at doing it yourself. I also live in burnaby, if you want to leave the deli with them, I could pick it up and keep at my house aka The TardisDeli Motel, till you return.
Don't use the bad e&h in surrey, i saw a horrible result from there.
Look forward to meeting you sometime.
Cheers Christine (L300 1991 now sold, L300 1997 with E&H Hitch).

Rick and the Burnaby E&H it shall be. A day trip for us, although we're likely to combine it with something else in the area while we wait for it to be done...maybe a recreational trip on the SkyTrain or something.l
